Keimos is a specialist independent IT training organisation and has succeeded in providing high quality, practical, Distance Learning computer training since 2001 at affordable prices. We provide Computer Based Training (CBT), software and distance learning and self study courses or training for Individuals, IT Professionals and businesses.
Since Nov 2001 we have successfully trained hundreds of students in Office Skills, PC Repair, Networking, Web Design, Database Administration, Operating Systems and programming.
It has always been our aim is to provide our students with good quality courses that not only teach the required skills but also ensure that the student understands what they have learnt rather than just learning the answers and being the holders of paper qualifications.
Keimos, is based in North Wales and is owned and run by Keith Duncan who is currently working as 1st Line Support - Remote Administration, the reason that Keimos is now working as a part-time service.
Keith has over 18 years experience in training as well as in business and has been involved with IT training since 1999. Two of which involved studying through a distance learning/self study course. This means I know the problems that are involved with this type of study.
I specialise in customising the courses to suit each individual where any of the standard courses do not provide the necessary training required which is why I like to discuss your training requirements with you, to ensure that the course you are taking is the right one for you.
Having used computers since 1990, mainly MS Office Applications, Land Surveying Software and Graphics software (AutoCad) it came to the stage where my main interest in computers led me to Learning how to build them, so since 1998 I have built my own computers and also at the same time followed my interest in Web Design, my main hobby.
Through Keimos I have managed to pass on my knowledge through the courses, the main areas being PC Support and Web Design. This backed up by many years of being and instructor has meant that the courses that have been provided come with little extras thrown in to make sure that you develop real world skills as opposed to just learning the answers.
